Handwoven cotton antique fabric scraps that are prepared with a resist paste and a handcut stencil. They are then dyed in a variety of shades using indigo and fermented persimmons.
The images are examples of a bundles, not exactly the pieces you will receive. Each bundle is unique, contains a variety of imagery, sizes and dye shades and we do not offer custom requests on them. They are a surprise :)
As they are made from homespun natural fibers and handwoven on a wooden loom, there are slubs and thread skips in the weave- but these imperfections are what we believe make it more beautiful.
