Medium weight: suitable for shirting, dressmaking, light jackets, interior projects, etc

Kasuri is the Japanese word for ikat, meaning that the thread is dyed strategically in different places prior to weaving, to create an overall pattern once woven up. This cotton is dyed with traditional Japanese indigo that is farmed locally, and woven by a small mill on Honshu that still specializes in these age old traditions.

100% Cotton, made in Japan

100 cm / 39" wide

Weight: 180g /m (6.34 oz)

Stripes run lengthwise

Purchase a sample to check the color and weight

Indigo will always bleed in the wash, please wash with darker fabrics, or seperately. Use cold water to wash, hang to dry
