(Set of 3) Bon-Bon Nesting Baskets

$150.00

These lidded baskets are traditionally made as a container for betel-chew ingredients. They are handwoven from soft, narrow lengths of Buri palm with split Nito vine bark strips to add the pattern.

They are sold as a set of 3, that nest together (pic 2 is the largest basket- hidden inside are the other two).

Each basket is slightly different as they are woven by hand and the materials are from the natural world.

  • 6”H x 5.5”W (largest)

  • Each basket is 2 parts- a base and a lid.

  • Made by the indigenous Buhid Mangyan of Mindoro Island, Philippines. Your purchase helps ensure the survival of this traditional craft.
