Cosmos Mittens - knitting pattern

This pattern combines satisfying colorwork with some fun design features such as braids. Designed to be fitted and dense for warm outdoor use, the pattern also includes instructions for a looser, more flexible fit and a mens size (note the mens includes modification instructions NOT an additional chart).

Directions are mostly written as a chart- knit from the cuff up, in the round. Thumb is worked seamlessly.

Designed with Uist Wool DK (approx 70g/ 188yds) but would work well with most dk weight yarns, particularly those with a more rustic, hard wearing finish. Size US 2 / 2.75mm set of double pointed needles or circular if using magic loop method.
