Antique Renaissance tape lace, made expertly by hand.
Made using a fine lace tape which is arranged, manipulated and hand-stitched onto a paper template, using a variety of decorative stitches to fill in the negative spaces. The paper is then removed as the final step. This trim varies in width between 5.5 and 3.5” due to the wavy profile.
It is suitable for use as decoration and trim on clothing and household items. Unbleached, undyed and has a champagne tone to it.
100% undyed, unbleached antique 20th Century cotton
5.5” or 140mm, sold by the yard
Handwash preferred, machine washable (delicates cycle, mesh bag) at max. 30°C. Iron on a medium temperature setting only. Please do not bleach. Not suitable for tumble drying.
5-10% shrinkage
